A city in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Harda is part of the small district by the same name. Harda had a rich history and was an important city as the Mughals constructed it into a Mahal. It was fought over by succeeding kingdoms. The Harda district is bound by three rivers – Ganjaal, Maachak, and the mighty Narmada, and the northern part of the district is in the Narmada river valley. The Harda district is a fertile piece of land owing to the rivers that flow in the region and is one of the largest producers of soya bean and wheat in Madhya Pradesh. Primarily a tribal area, Harda is a destination for tourists who want solace and peace of mind and to visit the numerous temples that dot the region like the Khet Wali Mata Mandir, Ridhnath Mahadev Temple, the Shri Laxmi Narayan Bada Mandir and more. It is also an excellent place for those who want to experience the vibrant culture and traditions that the city has to offer
